The challenge
Rosalind Miller is a London-based cake making company, specialising in occasion cakes and desserts. The brand was ranking well for the keyword “wedding cakes”, but needed help ranking for other relevant search terms, and growing its presence and audience online. Our challenge also included maximising the visibility of the newly launched Rosalind Miller Cake School.
Our approach
Rosalind Miller contacted Bubbli after being hacked, so our first priority was to free the site of any nasty bugs or SEO sins that came as a result of this. We then conducted a technical SEO analysis, exploring the likes of broken links, page load speed and redirects. This was followed by an end-to-end content optimisation review, involving keyword research and copy rewrites. We also concentrated on customer case studies, conducting interviews with Rosalind Miller Cake School students to bring their stories to life.

The outcome
Despite the global pandemic, which resulted in the wedding season being cancelled (a huge part of the Rosalind Miller business), we saw a 105% increase in traffic YOY, plus an increase in enquiries and bookings. In addition, students are finding the cake school organically. In fact, Rosalind Miller is now on page one of Google for a whopping 165 keywords.
